The John Hutchinson Award 

John Hutchinson was a member of NHD who sadly passed away on the beach from a non diving related illness after a successful dive. His wife funded the award in John’s memory - it is awarded to a Club member who has exhibited great dedication and hard work during the year. 

This award was presented to our equipment officer Peter Burridge for the second year running, for his contribution to the club keeping the equipment in tip top condition. While also this year keeping the club cylinders filled ready for the members to go diving without Peter we could not dive.

The Mike Deeble Award 

This award was kindly donated by Mike Deeble, to be awarded to the year’s most enthusiastic Club diver. 

This year as recognition of his great support to the club, the award goes to Carl Grounsell, Carl Has been working on the website and social media outlets to promote the club.

The Kindred Award 

This award was donated by Garry Tame in memory of his late mother in law, Peggy Kindred, who sadly died of cancer in 2009. It is awarded to the year’s most enthusiastic diver.

This award was presented to John Reynolds & Andrea Clark, For putting in the most dive in a year.

Student of the Year

This award is awarded to the student who has shown the most effort and enthusiasm for their training.

This award goes to Tom Mulhall for completing his ocean training and putting new skills to purpose very effectivly.
